Learning the Piano - Curriculum
Our curriculum offers a wide range of piano pieces, theory concepts and technical exercises and covers a broad range of styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Classical.
At MGS MUSIC, we aim to develop and encourage students to explore their musical creativity by providing opportunities to improvise to various chord progressions with the aim of helping them compose their own songs and melodies. An important focus of our piano/keyboard curriculum is to equip our students so they can play and perform together in ensembles and bands.
Students are also given the opportunity to take piano exams each year to nurture a steady rate of progress.
